Laguna Negra, Vinuesa

#1 of 10 in Parks in Province of Soria
According to legend, Laguna Negra has no bottom and instead connects to the sea via caves. You may not see the mythical sea creature that lives in the depths, but keep an eye out for trout. Created by glaciers, this body of water has an impressive, mountainous setting. Not many foreigners visit here. Be aware that at certain times of the year you can only reach the lake on foot. Take the time to enjoy the fresh air. Add Laguna Negra and other attractions to your Vinuesa trip itinerary using our Vinuesa trip planner .

  • This pond never ceases to surprise, saw it small as a place to swim much and I now appreciate lmore the nice thing is though I remembered that I could climb by car, now you have a parking lot that leaves you on a walk to see her. Very well!

  • Nature in its purest state. Snow and ice have to climb almost 2 kms with wind and very cold! It is more than worth. The landscape of the lagoon itself is wonderful.

  • Located to the North of the province of Soria in the heart of Sierra de Urbión nature reserve, it is a Lake of glacial origin and accompanying him other lagoons of the same origin as the Frost lagoon and Laguna Larga. It is accessed by road and although it is possible to arrive by vehicle up to her, in the months of audience you can walk or by bus. It has several well-signposted hiking trails to make and learn about their environment.
