We went here with 10 and 14 year old boys on holiday in Barcelona. We took train and ticket for train and park was all inclusive, you buy tickets from machines in central Barcelona station. Free shutt... more »
On our short trip to Barcelona we went to this water park because a friend lives nearby and we were staying with her. The water park was good in general, however, they ALLOWED smoking in the park! For... more »
Visited a park with my husband, friends and their 2 year old toddler. Park has a few good slides (nothing extreme), but looks a bit tired. The slides are a bit worn out. There are a lot of local peopl... more »
Stay on the beach! Unforgettable experience! . Rude staff . Sliding boats used in toboggans with missing handles. . Restaurant was closed on a Wednesday without notice on the website and you are left with fried frozen junk food, what I call "shut up and eat it ". . "Restaurants" ran out of food, iced drinks, even ketchup! . Toilets with a single communal toilet paper roll! . Changing room with only cold water shower. . Despite the extorsive tickets, you still have to pay for lockers, sun beds, etc. You better staying on the beach!
We purchased our tickets from the tourist store in main Barcelona for the same price as we would have done online. The manager at our apartment gave us precise instructions on the bus to take to the main bus stop which offers a free service to the water park. It helps to be polite and speak a little basic Spanish ( let's face it, we would expect the same here!), we asked a local shop which bus stop to take and he said to get the white bus outside his shop. The bus arrived on time, however the queue built up pretty quickly...we got on and arrived on time to the water park. The queues were huge to get in, however, again, using basic Spanish, I showed a member of staff our printed tickets and they escorted us all to the main gate, by passing all the queues and let us in straight away. The park itself is fantastic....very busy...but we weren't going there with 3 children to sit in one place! The queues for the slides look a little off-putting, however even when the queues were at the bottom of the stairs, we didn't queue more than 15 minutes for any slide. The set up of the 'red light, green light' is quick and efficient and I witnessed 2 lifeguards help out tired and fainting members of the public, quicker than I have ever seen anyone react!! I don't know what people expect from such a large attraction....there was plenty of space to walk around, we found a spot to eat, then carried about our business enjoying the day. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend the park to anyone, it certainly was the highlight of our holiday. On the downside, make sure, if you are getting the return free bus, that you are there at least 20mins before it leaves....we were left on the bus for 20 mins at the 6.30pm bus as a family refused to leave the front of the bus as there was no more space left!
I never usually write bad reviews but this place is worthy of one. This is the worst waterpark I've ever been to. It's a backyard pool branded as a waterpark with pricing like Disney World waterparks. All of the rides had long lines and you could tell they're age. Many of the waterslides were just plain dangerous with tiny catch pools after slides. Cleanliness was so a huge problem as we found inner tubes growing mould around the handles and steps covered in black mould. I can see this place being a huge breeding ground for disease. As a medical family we think this park should be closed and completely jet washed. Aside from that... You had to pay for sunloungers which after purchasing you had to actually take one off of a stack and lift it YOURSELF to the place you wanted it. Also towels for these loungers were sold separately. DO NOT VISIT THIS WATERPARK!!!!
This is s great waterpark with loads of different sides. The pools are fun as well.. get there by train or car. Lockers available to hire for the day for about 5 euros but they go Quickly so get yours fairly early.
this park ruined my day .. I was so happy by staying in Barcelona but visiting this place ruined everything. it was not clean .. without security..no music.. there's no fun.. so so so expensive.. and they forced us to pay for everything inside... there's no sense. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE.
