This summit is one of the Emblematic Summits of Catalonia. The Mare de Déu del Mont shrine is very popular, its name meaning Mother of God of the Mountain. • It is worth making the road curves to enjoy the views. Once above puees visit the sanctuary and the room where stayed Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer for a time and where he wrote the "Canigou". To me em was surprised to find a huge restaurant past up, because when you see the road you do not know there is the infrastructure there assembled. But even rooms for rent and food in the restaurant is very good. I emphasize the snails and risotto.

  • After a small car journey, you are before a grandiose landscape: a view of the Mediterranean, the mountains, the Lakes. It's totally amazing. To stop at the restaurant which allows you to eat in the face of this beautiful landscape. For nothing to spoil the meals are excellent and served with a smile. A but not touristy place to discover!

  • On a clear, sunny day, the view is lost on the horizon; from the Bay of Roses, the Canigó, be glimpsed also the Montseny. Road narrow, with lots of curves and although the browser or other applications you directed by Beuda or Maia de Montcal, no case, the best option is from Coll de Nargó unless you want to take a look at the colossal House of Noguer of memory, in the municipality of Maia. It is worth stopping, ascent or descent, in the consolidated ruins of the ancient monastery of Sant Llorenç de Tous.

  • Great Bike ascent! Scenic views
  • A shocking place. Joins the spectacular nature of the landscape, the relationship with father Jacinto Verdaguer. In addition, the restaurant with one of the most beautiful views of Catalunya. The climb is long but worth it. Pity the antennas; but, without them, the place it is possible that it had been completely abandoned.

  • Enjoy spectacular views if the day is clear. If not, the torture of the road is not compensated. If you are in the province, you have to have gone at least once.
