  • Castrelos Park, finca of the Marquise or Park of the marqueses de Quiñones de León is a wonderful place to relax in a natural environment. By bottom is a children's playground, a circuit of 1 km or 1.2 kms as if you are surrounded the playground or not that can be used both for walks as to make running exercise. It is one of the points of meeting par excellence for runners in Vigo and usually same people both day and night because of this (night is lit with streetlights). Access is completely free and open. Also can see in another area a nice ride with several bridges, ideal for walks romantic where is can see several types of birds like swans. Is an area chosen especially for photographs for weddings, communions... by it beautiful that is that area. At night there are areas where there is sufficient light but well... the access to this area is also completely free and open. Up slope of castrelos, on the road, at the top, is the Manor House of the Marquis of Quiñones de León. It is also a very choice site for weddings, christenings and communions. A few years ago the Manor had been enabled as a Museum, where it showed how vivian marquises in the time... now I don't know which function you are giving. The entrance to this area (the area of the gardens of the pazo) is free but with schedules restricted. In terms of the area of the Manor building some time not going so I do not know very well if you have times of entry, if we had to pay entry... or what you are doing currently there. No doubt a site very nice to walk around and breathe fresh air.

  • Castrelos can be divided into three sectors: the Museum with its area of French garden, ponds and eucalyptus trees, outdoor theatre, where you could enjoy in the festivities of Vigo's classical theatre, ballet, opera and concerts, most of the time from the press box (sitting on the stones, covered with newspapers, hence his nickname) which was then losing hook given the avalanche of bands , that dragged so much youth, without remembering the of the "middle ages", and the third sector is dedicated to children aged 0 to 90 or more to play, walk, run, etc. The range is wide. Walkers can go along parallel to the river Lagares. What's going on?. That is very extensive Park, so it is difficult to maintain. But ´animo and get to know Castrelos.

  • Vigo main park, great playground
  • The best park in Vigo for jogging or just a walk. It has free gymn-like equipment where you can exercise.
  • If you visit Vigo you should take the opportunity to visit this park and climb to the Castro. The Castro isn't much, but it is pleasant, but the real reason to go there is that it offers one of the best vantage points in Vigo.
  • Vistas geniales de la Ría y Vigo
  • Long and green. For the sport and the family
