  • Today, you could say that it is the perfect English garden, although their origins they germinate in the Renaissance. Winding trails hidden beautiful shrubs covered by monumental trees brought from distant and exotic lands. At the entrance of the garden, they receive us very ancient rododendendros and azaleas that give color to the greenish foliage of the set. Next, we discovered a couple of Australian ferns ((Dicksonia antarctica), franked by gigantic palm trees Washingtonia between paths that they converge in a round pond that attaches to frame an unmistakable romantic character, while a sugi monitors from the immensity of his glass.) Stairs lead us by a promenade of fragrant boxwood into a huge rectangular pond where two colossal hackberries of Virginia claim the attention of the visitor. Groves of ancient camellias will lead to a couple of waterfalls and the table where Jovellanos rested from their chores of enlightened reform. Tours of thousands of camellias, ancient magnolias, Oaks, beech trees, olive trees, vines... etc, sealed a plant jewel that will delight connoisseurs. And the always difficult to adapt to the Galician weather, bellasombra or ombú. We recommend visiting it in every season of the year to view the changes that occur in the garden according to the time. A true dream for those who have the sensitivity to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, the eternal return to Eden.
