  • The Charterhouse of Valldemossa is very ancient. Used initially by Carthusian monks since 1399 has gradually changed over time. The visit includes the Museum of the monastery church. Externally there is another building, the King's Palace, where you can also assist in daily concerts. Find out timetables. In the monastery you can visit the Church, the antica farmacia dei monaci, the prior's cell, some documents about Chopin and George Sand, a collection of prints, as well as a section with paintings of Spanish painters even contemporaries. Worth a visit (tickets cost 8, 50 euro).

  • With the entry you can access different rooms and museums, and have an idea of how they lived at the time in which it was here hosted Chopin. We also enjoy a piano concert at the Palace of King Sancho with the same input. Can be visited in one hour approximately without much entertainment.

  • 肖邦误打误撞来的修道院,在我看来却是风景极好的旅游胜地,休养生息的首选,感觉很享受。里面保留了很多珍贵的手稿,修道院里的小房间设施齐全,让人一夜穿越。  more »

  • Wrong opening times on the website. Closes early. Nobody cares about tourists.
  • it worths the visite, Valldemossa it is sort of magic
  • I was lead to believe the opening time on google, but it actually closes at 3pm during winter. Very disappointing.
  • Very beautiful monastery with beautiful view, albeit a bit expensive (entry adult € 8, students € 6.50, children free + visit to the House of Chopin €4 /prs). The village of Valldemossa is in itself beautiful, it is very nice to walk between terrace, art gallery and boutique (including jewellery Bay).
