Where to stay in Valladolid

Weekend prices in Valladolid can be quite affordable, as the city typically sees more business travelers than tourists. Accommodations cater to every type of visitor, from budget backpackers to history lovers and families. Choose from a number of larger chains, boutique hotels, and hostels. For the best sightseeing location, search for lodging in the town's historical district near the Plaza Mayor; options here include shared dorm-style rooms, apartment rentals, and luxury hotel suites in a former castle.

  • I don't know if you can go inside but from the outside it's nice but not overly impressive. To be honest it made me think of a block of apartments. It is directly opposite the San Pablo Y San Gregorio...  more »

  • My experience is not common, not I was visiting, but guest forced for almost a year since I did the old military service in its dependencies. Already almost forty years and know all the Palace completely. It has a few classrooms, a tapestry, a courtyard, a chapel and of course a history really magnificent. I can say that living there was fantastic, enriching, and of course an honor. Worth visiting it and of course the interesting buildings as close, as the Church of St. Paul, or the Museum of painted imagery. Beautiful city Valladolid, do not miss it.

  • This captaincy is set in the old Royal Palace, extended in 1661, at the end of the reign of Felipe IV. Your yard is the work of Alonso Beruguete.
