Iglesia de San Pablo, Valladolid

(4.7/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Admire the grand architecture of Iglesia de San Pablo, where both King Philip II and King Philip IV were baptized. When you arrive, you will be met by an elaborate 15th-century façade, considered to be one of the best examples of Spanish Gothic design. Take time to appreciate all the details of the façade before entering. Inside the church, admire the sculptures of saints that fill the interior. One of the most famous sculptures is the Lying Christ, which depicts Jesus dying with a hole in his chest. • This church is spectacular. The environment deserves a stopover. In this area worth visiting the Museum of national sculpture, José Zorrilla House and the Palace of the Pimentel, current Diputación de Valladolid.

  • A beautiful church, especially its facade and steeped in history, it was named Felipe II. A person of there us told the history of the Church on the baptism of the King and of the building next to it, where passed to the King by a window that continues closed to day of today and is can see the chain that sealed the window.
