A House of the 17TH century in the middle of a modernist neighborhood. It is a pleasure to see domestic solutions much before the arrival of IKEA in our lives.

It is worth visiting the Casa Cervantes, where he spent some years of his life. This beautifully preserved although it is true that it's a recreation. Beautiful gardens. I take this opportunity to recommend the Casa de Lope de Vega in Madrid. With guided tour.

The House Museum of Cervantes is a set of several edificiosn contiguous, located on the street of the trail, in the Centre of the city. in its interior there are furniture and works of art from the period in which it is said that the writer lived. Opposite the façade, there is a coquettish and leafy garden with a fountain in the Center. on a side, and attached to the party wall of the adjoining farm is located a part of the facade of the defunct hospital of the resurrection which was originally a few meters more above current street Miguel Iscar, on the corner with the acera de Recoletos. The facade consists of a body of stone, with niche and inside the image of the risen Christ, also carved in stone-the garden is closed by a gate that allows its contemplation from the outside at the times in which it remains closed.

  • I loved the place. It was very interesting tour
  • Historical place, One of the Cervantes's house. Valladolid in that time was the principal city. I recommend this one.
  • Very interesting place. With youth card entry I went free. A pity that the day I went I, the library and the courtyard were closed for maintenance, but I could see the rest of the stay. But well, I'll already go at another time has see what I saw.

  • An interesting walk to learn a little more about the life of Cervantes. The visit is made in 15 to 30 minutes. Only the adults paid entry.

  • Nice House rescued from speculation. It is a good example to learn about the lifestyle of the time. The atmosphere is very well achieved.
