Campo Grande, Valladolid

(4.7/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web)
Stroll among cypress trees, fountains, flowers, and herds of tame peacocks at Campo Grande, the expansive park and botanical garden in the center of Valladolid. Take in the many bronze statues and go for a leisurely walk around the pond, where you can feed the geese, ducks, and fish. Families might enjoy a boat ride with a boatman who tells interesting stories as he rows along. There's also an extensive playground with jungle gyms and several different sections. Thanks to the three aviaries, you'll find pheasants, roosters, and pigeons in addition to the famous peacocks. Avid readers will enjoy the small library complete with sitting area. The park is well connected by bus and just a five-minute walk from Plaza Mayor. • How appreciated is a space so right in the Centre of the city, where you can relax and get away from the noise for a while. Very nice, quiet, fresh and with many benches and shaded areas. Ideal with children, who enjoy watching the swans, ducks and turkeys reais. A very extensive children's area with games there are for children of different ages, including a tower with slides and a boat of a caliber that I had not seen in ordinary playgrounds previously almost never. Of course the children delighted, as you'll see.

  • Maravilloso lugar para pasar una tarde fresquita...
  • Valladolid's most famous park. Great place to relax for the afternoon.
  • Nice place, perfect for people-watching.
  • Good for a walk and take a drink with friends.
  • Very nice, but the romantic style does not leave any grass flat space to sit or rest.
