  • The Museum of history of Valencia is located, at the entrance of Mislata, going from Valencia. It is a museum located on one floor, (ground floor), where he will visit the permanent exhibition (at the entrance to the right), and a temporary exhibition (at the entrance to the left). It is an interesting Museum showing visitors the past of the city of Valencia and the daily life of its inhabitants with their work and daily chores. It is a very pleasant Museum. The permanent exhibition is a great and interesting presentation, with objects, writings, clothing, even have the famous "Mariquita Pérez" doll... Practivamente everything is behind glass and display cabinets. There is great diversity of audiovisual content. All the audiovisual are Valencian, Spanish, French and English. Vitrines in Valencian and Spanish texts, but I think that you can be ordered at the reception a brochure with translations in English and French. During the visit, it is interesting to combine the scenery, with contemplation of the showcases, there are some seats to sit quietly to see these good and entertaining stage sets. There is also a recreation of a former cinema, with its seats, where is projected by the way a short, very interesting, to know the history of Valencia. "Node" is missing, the interesting temporary exhibition also, about the civil war Spanish, seen through iferentes pictures. There is a media library, a place of rest and reflection, for all in this museum. All plants in this museum are perfectly prepared to use people with minuvaslia. You can get to this Museum, by bus and by subway, we have gone with our own car. There is a parking ground, next, where to leave the parked car. General admission is 2.00 euros, there is a reduced entry of 1.00 euro and 1 free entrance, for example, the unemployed prior accreditation. Open from Tuesday to Sunday and Monday it is closed. There are lockers where suggest you, in reception, let the bag or backpack. and you can make photos without the flash. The duration of the visit depends on as always what one stops, but at least say I 2 hours. A highly recommended museum visit, in Valencia, above all, if you like the story and you like Valencia.

  • I have visited three times since one is not enough. It covers the history of Valencia for many centuries. It has touch panels, describing situations each time through projections. There is also a small room, where projected a film with cinema seats of the of for 40 years, black and white and with NODE! We can find the roots of our land, and their story, told in a faithful manner and with a presentation that makes it very pleasant.

  • Hate to seem uncultured but it was terribly boring. Almost entirely consists of objects, from a given period, behind glass. There must've been about 10 different projector screens which displayed little dramatisations from actors in a range of languages. However, only 2 were working when I visited. The building itself is pretty, and the entry fee is cheap, only 5€ pp.
  • El lloc en sí I la disposició de la informació m'agradaren molt. Vam fer una visita guiada I va estar genial.
  • Interesante
  • The idea of the museum (with short movies about city life in different historical periods) is very good, but most of projectors were out of order. Also only 1of 5 time machines available was working. A bit disappointing!
  • Because it is located in the ancient cisterns of Valencia and this gives an atmosphere of authenticity, truth, knowledge, meditation and the roots of the Valencian people and its rich cultural, artistic, monumental and historic.
