  • An excellent market which offers all kinds of typical products of Valencia. A must go to buy there for its quality price and the products offered. His monument is already part of the image of the city.

  • I love central market, since the building is old and you have it well maintained. The posts are very well organized and you can see all the products that are not only of Valencia but also from other countries. I recommend to go.

  • The guides books say this is a must see. I would add that the markets rates as one of the top ones I have visited for cleanliness and good local product mix. My wife and I were going to sit a cafe near this place and have tapas but we ended up buying samples of chess, conducts, empañadas, fresh fruit, and fresh squeezed fruit juice in very inexpensive single portion servings. A nice way to survey the local food and walk the market. Definitely going back to stock up on some stuff to take home to Brussels.
  • Typical European style market. Full of life, food, noise, smells and adventure. The market is within a beautiful building. Food within is reasonably priced. On my encounter, we bough Greek snacks, fruit smoothie and fresh water melon. The only reason why I'am giving 4 stars is because I was expecting hot food to be served here. Which we experienced during our trip to Barcelona's central market. This market is still worth the visit and a historic highlight to Valencia.
  • It's a Spanish style farmers market open everyday instead of once a week. Fresh ingredients ranging from vegetables to meats to baked goods. I left the best for last, they sell wines and beer in the same place! WHAT?!! How awesome it that! If you're in the area, you have to visit here. If it's HOT, they sell freshly made juices from the fruit stand. Just wait your turn from the many thirsty and hot tourists, don't worry they have system and you'll be exploring the market in less than a minute with a cool fresh drink. :)
  • Excellent European market, with a fantastic seafood selection and many inexpensive snacks. Great place to get all of your daily shopping needs. Central Bar is a great place for a casual meal with a friend. Many jamón shops, fresh bread, pickled delicacies, and local foods. Shop owners are friendly and used to dealing with tourists. Most places accept credit, but prefer cash especially for small purchase amounts.
  • If you like markets you will love this one. Absolutely every type of food from the area is displayed and sold in great style. Of course, there are more tourists than locals but that's to be expected.
