  • Fantastic place - lots of locals shopping - why go anywhere else. Amazing food stalls and great tapas bar and fresh juice etc
  • Such a beautiful and impressive market! Really nice people and a lot to see. Don't hurry through the halls... Take your time and enjoy it like the locals.
  • You can buy shellfish in the market and have the restaurant cook it for you for just 2 euro/kilo/shellfish. So cheap. They also had horchata made out of tiger nuts. It's the most delicious drink I ever had. It's not like the Mexican horchata. You must try it if ever your in Valencia. The tiger nut is only grown in Valencia.
  • Big colorful market. Perfekt to buy local food, have a Horchiata and enjoy the hustle and bustle
  • You can buy all sorts of Spanish food here in the market. Remarkable experience for tourists. Very friendly staff but may not be able to communicate well in English. Recommend to buy food for lunch here :)
  • Merat Central de València. This historic central market, built between about 1915 and 1928,bprovides city dwellers, and of course the tourists, with some of the area's freshest and finest food. Exotic meat wise, they sell horse meat here... 😱
