Puerto de Valencia, Valencia

3.5
Huge shipments of timber, pulp, paper, and furniture leave Puerto de Valencia every day bound for world markets. This great commercial success was a long time coming, with various port construction projects attempted as early as the 14th century. Finally, by 1791, a steady stream of traffic had been established at the port, but the flooding of the Turia River prevented continuous building. Eventually modern technology prevailed, and now the port is a historic and contemporary commercial center, where fresh fish and goods are sold alongside huge industrial ships. After eating he plays a little lower the food. It is a very nice, spacious, well-ordered. A joy should be reached by boat... Also are the traces of the old circuit of F-1, which is spectacular. Also the hangars of the America's Cup are worth seeing. Well thought of this site.

I loved the experience!, Catamaran excursion, for a couple of hours, which left the port and included food onboard, swimming in high seas and festive atmosphere, all at an affordable price. Recommended

Beautiful place for walkers. Then you can get through the company Balearia to achieve these fantastic Islands.

  • It is a very nice to stroll, above all in the summer since there is much atmosphere in the area. A little further on there is a completely open ships where much people advantage as smooth soil type to practice with the skateboard or skates (both children and people more more).

Where to stay in Valencia

The Valencia city center is hugged by a river bed-turned park that leads down to the City of Arts and Sciences and harbor area. Stay along the river to be no more than a pleasant stroll away from some of the main neighborhoods and attractions. The popular El Carmen neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city, is known for its bohemian atmosphere and historical architecture, making it a popular area for daytime tourism and lively nightlife. For a selection of newer hotels and well-known shops, you can opt to stay in the city's commercial district of Colon Street, only a short walk from the old center and well-connected by the metro. For a laid-back, sun-filled retreat, El Cabanyal is a quiet residential neighborhood near the city's main beach.
