Puerto de Valencia, Valencia
(3.4/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Huge shipments of timber, pulp, paper, and furniture leave Puerto de Valencia every day bound for world markets. This great commercial success was a long time coming, with various port construction projects attempted as early as the 14th century. Finally, by 1791, a steady stream of traffic had been established at the port, but the flooding of the Turia River prevented continuous building. Eventually modern technology prevailed, and now the port is a historic and contemporary commercial center, where fresh fish and goods are sold alongside huge industrial ships. • All port, it is not more than that, fed up with boats, yachts, etc. This is a pleasant walk, in addition to being the side of one of the busiest beaches, and a spectacular view of the sea.

  • We have already seen a lot and done in Spain but Valencia was surprising, in many ways. Much cheaper as Barcelona, many good restaurants, good public transport, top hotel to the port. Nice old town. We will definitely be back.

  • The port of Valencia, is one of the places where we love going for walks, when we we're in the city and, above all, when the weather permits it. A pleasant walk from the Malvarrosa Beach, past Royal Navy. A place where walking, relax, go to taking photographs, especially at sunset, or even go to have a drink or soft drink in some of the locals in the area. Dealt with beautiful view of the Harbour, beaches, etc... Highly recommended.
