Situated in a central area with shops and Baroque monuments, very elegant and refined. At the Center is a beautiful Fountain with benches.

in a broad and lively square in the city centre. Even the adjacent streets, the Cathedral and Plaza de la Reyna are not to be missed. Just a nice city, lively and cheerful.

  • We meandered through the streets of Valencia and landed up here. Of course with a little help of a map. Its beautiful. Lovely gardens where u can park off on a bench enjoy the relaxation and watch people go by. We bought some fresh strawberries and some coldrink"s and went and sat on one of the benches. Lovely for taking some memorable shots here. My hubby was really relaxing here on the bench. Posing as a homeless guy😆
  • The City Hall itself is well worth a visit. It's free, you can see the beautiful main staircase, ballroom and central balcony from which you get a great view of the Plaza. There are also large photos of the bomb damage from the civil war.
  • A great tourist place.....you would find all kind of food franchises around the park. The fountain is beautiful must watch and stop for an awesome picture.
  • Just a nice area to relax and eat. Very open spaced with a fountain. You can go up the the town hall for a better view.
  • Interesting place to visit, for young architects (beautiful buildings all around) and not to be missed during Las Fallas for the mascletta.

Where to stay in Valencia

The Valencia city center is hugged by a river bed-turned park that leads down to the City of Arts and Sciences and harbor area. Stay along the river to be no more than a pleasant stroll away from some of the main neighborhoods and attractions. The popular El Carmen neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city, is known for its bohemian atmosphere and historical architecture, making it a popular area for daytime tourism and lively nightlife. For a selection of newer hotels and well-known shops, you can opt to stay in the city's commercial district of Colon Street, only a short walk from the old center and well-connected by the metro. For a laid-back, sun-filled retreat, El Cabanyal is a quiet residential neighborhood near the city's main beach.
