  • We went to Valencia on holiday and decided to pay a visit to one of the museums with more relevance in the Valencian Community. Recently renovated and with a very good explanation of the Guide. Machinery can start and see how it worked in its glorious times to see the whole process of rice. As I say in the title, must see.

  • Rice and its close history with Valencia is the attraction of this peculiar Valencian Museum. Located in an old mill that left of work in the Decade of 1980, recreates the history of Valencia with the plantation, collects and distribution of this basic and valuable product, own of the Albufera Levantine. Highly recommended to visit family, is included in the offer of museums free if you buy the Valencia Card. Discover ancient machinery handling and treatment of rice

  • A very nice we did see a documentary with subtitles in Italian, and he described the structure of the Museum made the old mill of the port used for the preparation of rice. New museum devoted entirely to the equipment used for this kind of processing that have been beautifully cleaned and settled. To improve certain aspects of the product: the designation of varieties of rice arrived with the Arabs and those who later were grown, as well as no indication of how it was and is prepared in the kitchen, or at least I don't have these issues you encounter. Missing a schop.

  • Very well-presented museum across three floors in which we spent an enjoyable morning. The main components of the museum are the different machines that would have originally been used for sorting and packing rice from the nearby Albufera rice fields.
  • Well preserved, good explanation by the guide.
  • Very well explained the guided visit by the boy, feels that it likes what speaks, my delighted children and learned much and I also. I recommend a visit!
