L’Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo, Valencia

(4.7/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
One man's obsessive toy collection eventually became L’Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo, where over 85,000 tiny toy soldiers are arranged in elaborate displays. These figurines are not child's play, displayed in scenes recreating battles from the Napoleonic Wars, the procession of Corpus Christi, and the Battle of Almansa. The details in each miniature are such that even the fabric of the clothes seem to be blowing in the wind. Located next to the Cathedral of Valencia, the museum makes an attractive addition to the neighborhood’s romantic streets. • Superbly located in the street Knights, to two steps of the Virgin, Cathedral, Miguelete, etc., in Palace classic of this street. The collection of toy soldiers, as usual, has much to do with the wars carried out by humanity in all parts of the world. Very enjoyable and instructive, is worth so much to adults, as accompanied by children (don't let them Chase). I will like to re-visit it others many times very recommendable

  • A place without a doubt pass you have to visit, but lack of attention from the staff of the Museum at the time of enforcing the zones of silence, since it is paid, don't all feel we get to see an exhibition with mothers and children running around loudly everywhere...

  • The Valencia´s Tin Soldiers' Museum is an excellent display of craftmanship and a really pleasant way to review World, European and local history. Located at the very centre of Valencia city center, it really is a very enjoyable exhibition that I would recommend for all ages.
  • A very nice play to see and enjoy. Highly recommended for those who want to learn something new in a very different and interesting way. Everything is there! You know when you go in, but you never know when you will go out! there are a lot of enjoyable small treasures and details. Really good job!
