L’Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo, Valencia

(4.7/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
One man's obsessive toy collection eventually became L’Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo, where over 85,000 tiny toy soldiers are arranged in elaborate displays. These figurines are not child's play, displayed in scenes recreating battles from the Napoleonic Wars, the procession of Corpus Christi, and the Battle of Almansa. The details in each miniature are such that even the fabric of the clothes seem to be blowing in the wind. Located next to the Cathedral of Valencia, the museum makes an attractive addition to the neighborhood’s romantic streets. • The history of humanity through these figures. Something that cannot be described. Live the story through these miniatures. The wisdom and patience take perfection

  • This would be the number of figures in the Museum. It does however have the impression that they are millions ... all beautiful, made with extreme precision. Syndication also numerous battlegrounds, like Waterloo, Austerlitz ... Not only soldiers, but also the revival in different shrines in all of human history. We also meet the Smurfs, Lucky Luke, and the history of fashion. You should allow at least two hours for your visit.

  • Located in an old mansion, is a Museum of hand-painted figurines and dioramas that leave no one indifferent. Whether you're a fan or if not. Only the visit is special by the framework which includes the largest collection that is known... If you choose the days of open doors, which is usually about 2 times a year, better because a face both is input and to go more than one you think it and it is an exhibition where children will enjoy it. Free days, can take back the queues that form, but you do not give up, because they are very fast and it is an exhibition that depending on your degree of observation can be seen in 45 min.

  • The Valencia´s Tin Soldiers' Museum is an excellent display of craftmanship and a really pleasant way to review World, European and local history. Located at the very centre of Valencia city center, it really is a very enjoyable exhibition that I would recommend for all ages.
  • A very nice play to see and enjoy. Highly recommended for those who want to learn something new in a very different and interesting way. Everything is there! You know when you go in, but you never know when you will go out! there are a lot of enjoyable small treasures and details. Really good job!

  • Very interesting museum! U can spend hours there discovering something new and interesting. And the building itself is very old and interesting as well
