One man's obsessive toy collection eventually became L’Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo, where over 85,000 tiny toy soldiers are arranged in elaborate displays. These figurines are not child's play, displayed in scenes recreating battles from the Napoleonic Wars, the procession of Corpus Christi, and the Battle of Almansa. The details in each miniature are such that even the fabric of the clothes seem to be blowing in the wind. Located next to the Cathedral of Valencia, the museum makes an attractive addition to the neighborhood’s romantic streets. • The degree of detail of the figures is spectacular. There are so many figures that at the end of the visit you get stunned, but very interesting. Like the guys. The building is very nice.

  • Always had the desire to visit this museum located in the heart of Valencia and if get it to know would have visited it before. It houses according to their slogan "the largest collection of the world lead soldiers" and I think that he is right. The Museum is also located in an exceptional place. It is divided into rooms each with a certain time: middle ages, Greece and ancient Rome, Napoleonic wars, Wild West... Most impressive is the recreation of the battle of Almansa, which occupies nearly an entire room in a single structure. The value of the exposed miniatures is incalculable... A museum to be missed for quite a while. I will be alert to future exhibitions to repeat.

  • I visited the Museum on the occasion of a concert organised in its medieval courtyard. If you have a passion for the Tin soldiers, this is your place! Very appropriate to visit with children and learn history in a very entertaining way.

  • The Valencia´s Tin Soldiers' Museum is an excellent display of craftmanship and a really pleasant way to review World, European and local history. Located at the very centre of Valencia city center, it really is a very enjoyable exhibition that I would recommend for all ages.
