L’Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo, Valencia
(4.7/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
One man's obsessive toy collection eventually became L’Iber, Museo de los Soldaditos de Plomo, where over 85,000 tiny toy soldiers are arranged in elaborate displays. These figurines are not child's play, displayed in scenes recreating battles from the Napoleonic Wars, the procession of Corpus Christi, and the Battle of Almansa. The details in each miniature are such that even the fabric of the clothes seem to be blowing in the wind. Located next to the Cathedral of Valencia, the museum makes an attractive addition to the neighborhood’s romantic streets. • I've gone several times with my family to the L'iber Museum, and always I like to return. All we like to go there: has many models, historical representations and new exhibits, which seem always interesting. In addition, the museum itself is beautiful and worth going just to see how are the courtyards, the decoration of the rooms... I recommend a visit to the Museum of Tin soldiers, it is an experience that it is worthwhile to spend with family, with friends or alone.

  • I visited the Museum with my partner this weekend and both were delighted with the huge collection of figures, there is really unique pieces. It is a museum to visit both adults and the entire family. Totally recommended!

  • The Valencia´s Tin Soldiers' Museum is an excellent display of craftmanship and a really pleasant way to review World, European and local history. Located at the very centre of Valencia city center, it really is a very enjoyable exhibition that I would recommend for all ages.
  • A very nice play to see and enjoy. Highly recommended for those who want to learn something new in a very different and interesting way. Everything is there! You know when you go in, but you never know when you will go out! there are a lot of enjoyable small treasures and details. Really good job!
