  • The Botanical Garden of Valencia is located in the heart of the city of Valencia, a few minutes walk from the barrio del Carmen, the Torres de Quart, or IVAM Museum. When you enter, because you realize that is a very special place: the paths and seating areas are always clean and very well maintained, plant species are very diverse, and the atmosphere that we breathe is full relaxation. Frequents the place also a colony of cats who have settled in the place and that delight lovers of these animals. There are also several greenhouses that can be accessed to see very different species. I would stress the of carnivorous plants, which is very strange, especially for children. There is also an area of cactus that is very interesting. In addition to the garden, there is a Museum in which are made exhibitions, lectures, workshops and other activities that are very interesting and make this garden-Museum a place very special and essential when visiting the city of the Turia.
