  • This beautiful church that combines Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque Valencian, built in the 13th century by the Knights Hospitaller of Saint John of Jerusalem (Knights of Malta today) is little known by tourists but I recommend to those who come to Valencia to visit her, she's simply majestic in his Holiness, you'll be fascinated.

  • It is the second time that we visited this church, the Church of San Juan of the Hospital, it is a church that we like, find I completely different from all other churches in the city, both outside and inside. This important Church in Valencia, the oldest of the city is located in the casco antiguo, in the heart of the city. Combines three architectural styles, Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and Valencian. Its interior is simple. It was founded in the year 1238, by the military order of the hospitable Knights of San Juan de Jerusalén. It is fully restored. You are accessed through a beautiful courtyard, by the ratchet Knight Street. Next to this Courtyard stands the small bell tower. It is a must-see in the city. The entrance is free.

  • Vote absolutely full. Rare vote. In both simplicity there is the whole context of the philosophy of the ancient Crusader Knights. No frills, just philosophy, just "I believe". I am an atheist since I can remember, but I admire and respect not absolutist ideologies which cultivate a faith but try to stay balanced with conditions. As always, Merry trip at all.

  • Very pleasant, quiet, atmospheric place. In the heart of the city, but such silence. Tourists about this church, apparently not much know in major routes it is not included, but in vain: this place just breathes history. Old walls, Gothic arches, modest decoration, very cozy courtyard. Open until 21.00, when closed. Admission is free, it is a functioning Church.
