Fallas Museum, Valencia
(4.3/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Experience a piece of Valencian culture at Fallas Museum, featuring life-size figurines made of cardboard, wood, and plaster. This art form originated with junk thrown out at the end of winter--the owners would dress it up and draw faces on it, and the humorous tradition caught on. The museum displays some of the best pieces, which date back as far as 1934. These days, the figures are brightly painted and resemble caricatures. They often portray political themes, or comment on trends, society, and sexuality. No guides or brochures are offered, but there is a video explaining the history of the figures. • Worth a visit, entrance for only eur2. Beautiful museum and everything is well described. Could be planned to be visited on the way to the Oceanographic or Science museum.
  • The Museum is next to the Palace of Arts, its price is 2 adult € and €1 children. In the you can see the ninots since the 1933 year so far. Best Park in the parking lot of the city of the Arts because the building is located in an area where there is no practically parking area. There are ninots precious and they explain the history of failures and how were carried out in the past until today. Highly recommended if you go with children.

  • A must-see for approaching this tradition decades fallera. However the building remained close long ago. It is regrettable and little explained that a city that enjoys and boasts large and new buildings has not thought about giving a more appropriate framework to those joyas.que are the ninots. If going with car, are going to have problems for parking.
