4.3/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web
Experience a piece of Valencian culture at Fallas Museum, featuring life-size figurines made of cardboard, wood, and plaster. This art form originated with junk thrown out at the end of winter--the owners would dress it up and draw faces on it, and the humorous tradition caught on. The museum displays some of the best pieces, which date back as far as 1934. These days, the figures are brightly painted and resemble caricatures. They often portray political themes, or comment on trends, society, and sexuality. No guides or brochures are offered, but there is a video explaining the history of the figures. • Wonderful creations from every year of the last 100 years. Well worth going for a look. It only takes a short while to walk around the exhibition,
  • It's a little hard to find if it is not a detailed map. On the outside, it's like a church and not striking. Once inside we find ourselves with replicas of all the ninots were gaining throughout the history of failures. It is nice

  • I took to see it the same day as the Oceanographic, shortly before entering the other - where I spent all day-, since this visit in a short time. An hour and half enough. The problem that has queues for access, since when I went there was much tail and then they let you as people came out to maintain capacity. You see inside from old faults before up to the most modern, and is lovely to behold as the Fallas art has evolved.
