  • This little crypt you can easily find, hidden behind the Cathedral, worth the visit, with explanatory audio-visual (version available in English with Italian subtitles) very impressive. It is a pity that is not generally considered to be one of the attractions of Valencia.

  • The archaeological crypt of San Vicente Mártir, is located in the old city, very close to La Almoina town. It is an interesting visit, complemented with a visit to the Almoina. It is in the same square as the City Museum. This archaeological crypt houses a funerary chapel, two monumental tombs of slab Visigoth period and part of the head of the Cathedral. The Chapel is very well preserved and was erected as burial of a Bishop, whose tomb is located in the transept. Parts of great interest are also exhibited as a mural painting Roman with the representation of the God mercury. A fragment of Paleo-Christian sarcophagus, Visigothic dividers and parts of Palatine Regalia from the Islamic period. A series of interesting audiovisual on the walls and a set of lights, they transport the visitor for the time, and runs the crypt, while it tells the story of St. Vincent. The visit with the audiovisual lasts approximately half an hour. When we arrived in the afternoon, there were no visitor and the person who was at the reception put it us, for the visit. The hours are Monday to Saturday from 09.30 to 14.00 hours hours and 15.00 hours to 19.00 hours. Sundays and public holidays from 09: 30 hours to 15.00 hours. The entry fee is: the general 2 euro, reduced 1 euro and the free of charge, for example, for the unemployed, prior accreditation. Sundays and public holidays is free. A highly recommended visit.

  • Through its audiovisual you're placing in the different periods of the history of the city and the life of St. Vincent. Thanks to its ruins, you imagine the changes suffered by the different rooms. Very curious and is only half an hour.
