Where to stay in Valencia

The Valencia city center is hugged by a river bed-turned park that leads down to the City of Arts and Sciences and harbor area. Stay along the river to be no more than a pleasant stroll away from some of the main neighborhoods and attractions. The popular El Carmen neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city, is known for its bohemian atmosphere and historical architecture, making it a popular area for daytime tourism and lively nightlife. For a selection of newer hotels and well-known shops, you can opt to stay in the city's commercial district of Colon Street, only a short walk from the old center and well-connected by the metro. For a laid-back, sun-filled retreat, El Cabanyal is a quiet residential neighborhood near the city's main beach.

  • You can discover more about history of Valencia, unfortunately no explanations in english are available.
  • As I understand it is little known by tourists, perhaps because out from classic walking routes. It is very well organized, dimly lit ground floor, full of historical information and interesting documents. The second floor is interesting and you visit easily. On the top there is a library. It is one of the things I liked most in Valencia

  • Super Audio. We went on a Wednesday and were alone. I suppose that if a larger group experience lost. The rooms of the first floor nicely recreated and preserved.

  • It is not bad, it is a beautiful Palace with history, but I can't help but compare it to the of the Marqués de Dos Aguas and have the feeling that the de Cervelló has much less to offer. Probably attract more interested by the story. Anyway, it was a pleasant visit and has a couple of very nice rooms.
