Bioparc Valencia, Valencia

(4.3/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web)
For a change of pace from the cultural sites for which this city is renowned, visit Bioparc Valencia, an innovative and eco-friendly zoo aiming to immerse its visitors into the animals’ habitats. Skillfully combining education and conservation, this park avoids the traditional enclosures and cages common to most zoos. Instead, the park’s animal inhabitants are separated from visitors by a series of rivers, ponds, streams, and rock outcroppings. This creates an impression that wild animals roam freely around you as you explore various habitats. While on your safari-like experience, remember that touching or feeding the animals is strictly forbidden. The park also has a cafe serving light snacks and refreshing drinks. Plan your visit to Bioparc Valencia and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Valencia vacation route planner.

  • It was one of the best experiences we have ever had! A park designed to put the visitor in contact with nature like few other places ... almost without barriers. Rare animals to see (gorillas, Lions, hippos, rhinos, puma to name a few ...) a unique experience. General ticket is about € 23. If you are lucky, at specific times of the day is eaten by animals, and you can see it all live. Also the place has a few restaurants and leisure spots well supplied, and an arena where we could attend a beautiful show (free) of several trained a few steps away from us, aminals without barriers nor protections. Absolutely a must!

  • This is a wonderful modern and compact zoo. Many of the animals co-exist in the same enclosures. So it is easy to get around. There's a good cafe too, overlooking one large enclosures in particular. T...  more »

  • Loved this well thought out zoo. Nature everywhere with so many waterfalls and amazing plants. The animals looked well cared for with v large enclosures. Good that animals could share their enclosures with other animals where possible. Reflecting their natural habitat. For example one enclosure zebras rhinos and ostrich. And so many elephants! Wow. And they had so much space. V relaxing beautiful experience.
  • Got in with a buy one get one free ticket, so €23,50 was the entrance price for the two of us, enjoyable walk around the zoo, the lemur area gets a bit packed, would recommend going in Autumn or Spring as there is hardly any shade!
  • Bioparc Valencia is my favorite place! It is a terrific place where you can go with your kid and enjoy a Sunday in family. All around you is nature and animals and is very relaxing. If you come in Valencia you have to see Biopark!
  • It was nature all around me and there is nothing not to love. The exotic animals, the amazing amphitheatre show, the setting...they did an amazing job with recreating Madagascar. However, the food prices were quite high. But that is really the only unsatisfying thing at Bioparc
  • One of the most beautiful zoo's I've ever been to. Great layout and you can see the animals from every possible angle. A real must see in Valencia
