4.3/5 based on 5,000+ reviews on the web
For a change of pace from the cultural sites for which this city is renowned, visit Bioparc Valencia, an innovative and eco-friendly zoo aiming to immerse its visitors into the animals’ habitats. Skillfully combining education and conservation, this park avoids the traditional enclosures and cages common to most zoos. Instead, the park’s animal inhabitants are separated from visitors by a series of rivers, ponds, streams, and rock outcroppings. This creates an impression that wild animals roam freely around you as you explore various habitats. While on your safari-like experience, remember that touching or feeding the animals is strictly forbidden. The park also has a cafe serving light snacks and refreshing drinks. Plan your visit to Bioparc Valencia and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Valencia vacation route planner.

  • We visited Biopark on a monday evening. It was great, since there were almost no people! It is really nice visit, even though a bit expensive
  • Best zoo I have ever been to. Wide open spaces for the animals in natural environments. Planted like a botanic garden and beautifully kept. Perhaps avoid weekends to miss the crowds. Food isn't allowed in because animals mustn't be fed.
  • Probably the most gorgeous zoo I have ever seen! My only complaint is that it isn't bigger. For the cost of admission, you should be able to easily spend a whole day there. We struggled to stretch it out to half a day.
  • Good for the kids. Every kind of animals. A veri nice park. Worth the visit.
  • Excellent experience of zoo-immersion. You feel you are right there next to the animals. It's excellent for kids and adults. I loved this place!
