Trip Planner: Europe / Spain / Valencian Country / Province of Valencia / Valencia / Bioparc Valencia
For a change of pace from the cultural sites for which this city is renowned, visit Bioparc Valencia, an innovative and eco-friendly zoo aiming to immerse its visitors into the animals’ habitats. Skillfully combining education and conservation, this park avoids the traditional enclosures and cages common to most zoos. Instead, the park’s animal inhabitants are separated from visitors by a series of rivers, ponds, streams, and rock outcroppings. This creates an impression that wild animals roam freely around you as you explore various habitats. While on your safari-like experience, remember that touching or feeding the animals is strictly forbidden. The park also has a cafe serving light snacks and refreshing drinks. Make Bioparc Valencia part of your personalized Valencia itinerary using our Valencia route planner.

Bioparc Valencia Reviews
Stays forever in my heart! This is a place full of love, harmony, extra care for animals, great job ,compliments! more »
Great zoo, it's not really big (it took us around 2 hours to finish our visit), but you get really close to animals and descriptions are made really well. Although, did't like to see gorilla familiy..... more »
This is the best wildlife park I have visited, there really is not a lot off distance and barriers between you and the animals or though very safe, and animals were happy roaming around in their own..... more »
Really nice zoo. It's set up nicely so it doesn't feel as fenced as other zoos. The restaurant in the place is really good. Knowledgeable about gluten-free. I had the paella which was really yummy then sat out on the terrace watching the rhinos, zebras and ostriches. Where else could you do that
Not bad. It’s a great place to hang out for the day with family (instead of on electronic devices). You have to think outside the box. Yes I am sure we all have been to many zoos. But this one is different. Don’t rush it. Take your time, and if you lucky they animals will roam to you. The facilities are quite extraordinary.
A visit to Valencia wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Bioparc, this is simply the best zoo I've ever been to, the animal enclosures are wonderfully landscaped with rivers and trenches preventing the animals from escaping rather than cages. The animals seem well cared for and have plenty of space. Be sure to make time for the bird and mammal exhibition and take a moment to enjoy a wine at the café for less than 2 euros with a view of the giraffes it is bliss in the sun!
This was an amazing day out. Definitely one of the best Zoo's we've visited. To see all these animals was nice, especially the monkeys. It wasn't overly packed with people either and there's also a lot of water vending machines which was really necessary every 15 minutes at least. I'd definitely go back there again.
Me and my partner visited Bio Park last year during a our time spent in Valencia. Bio Park is without doubt the best zoo I have ever been to. It was absolutely beautiful and refreshing to see the animals in fantastic enclosures. I feel like the animals were in much better enclosures than what you would find in an average zoo. To our surprise there were different species mixed together so gave it a more natural feel. We both absolutely loved Bio Park and intend on going again in the future. If you love animals, you must go!
