  • Every time I come to Valencia I love to go for a walk in El Cabanyal. It is a place where you feel that the time has stopped, it used to be a fishermen village. It is true that the neighborhood got ne...  more »
  • Depends on that l look from the outside, from the area of the beach, from the integrated in the Malvarrosa part, that you internes streets and polygons. There is everything, as in pharmacy. Houses painted, polygons industrial, warehouses, between the beach and the restaurants of tourists. A different neighborhood, you have to know to identify, because people seem to have forgotten the neighborhood and have only stayed with the beach. Dispensable.

  • He last weekend went to Valencia to visit to a friend that was born, grew up and currently lives in this beautiful neighborhood next to great part of his family. I have to say that he had heard of el Cabanyal, but when I found myself in the middle of the street of the Queen surrounded by these wonderful houses my eyes lit up, while I was saddened to see the appearance left many of them. My friends told me the reason of that State... They are political issues where I am not going to come in, will only say that thanks to the residents of el Cabanyal, their effort and constant struggle today still can enjoy a splendid architecture and a tradition like no other. Valencia is a beautiful city and this neighborhood is one of their best corners. My recommendation is day strolling through the streets and end up on the beach of the Malvarosa at 100 metres of el Cabanyal.
