  • We spent a day staying at the Observatory, my partner and I, and I have since yesterday trying to find the right words that do it justice... but there is no them. You have to live this experience quite overwhelming and wonderful. Incredible is the work of Jose Ramon and his wife Loly, as wonderful as the lived experience, there is a work of many years to achieve something and is that it is unique in the world and we have the great fortune to have it in Spain. I feel very fortunate. Thank you very much for keeping the population of this bird of prey so necessary for life, since eating the carrion prevent many diseases by bacteria, I invite you to look for information about them, much will change your way of seeing them. The accommodation say that I loved everything, the room spotless and nicely decorated, I sleep great in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve and the great breakfast... And good little more I can say, it is best to live it... Looking forward to return! a huge hug Jose Ramon and Loly and thank you very much, you are huge!

  • It is the second time that we are going to the Observatory and it will not be the last, it is a pleasantly different place, surrounded by nature. There is nothing like waking up in the morning, open your eyes and see through the window the mountain with its trees full of vultures, watch them fly in circles waiting for his breakfast with impatience, José Ramón "BUITREMAN" responsible for having all mornings of the year without failing or a single and always at the same time, for many years! But the best is yet to come! After the delicious breakfast Loli has prepared for us, we're ready to go up to that magical Observatory overnight let us enjoy great views, but above all, a clean, star-filled sky, it was perfect, but if night thousands of stars, were seen in the morning were hundreds of vultures that covered the sky... already knew that they would come , but is not the same to see them in photos to see them a few meters and so many! You have to be there to enjoy it and always with the explanations that Loli kindly gives you these valuable birds that make both by us and which I was unaware, while Buitreman strives to give them a small but great contribution of its power. It is really impressive, is the highlight of the Observatory, but must not forget their hosts José Ramón and Loli, that they crave to be so pleasant stay in this beautiful and unique Observatory, which by the way is very welcoming and familiar. We love it to see you again! Only we thank you for all that you do and for how you have treated us! Sure that there will be a third time! Paco and Ana

  • Accommodation, does not have a star comfort, perhaps miss the detail put SOAP or shampoo and more, the two plug are used for lamps, without any thought to recharge phones, the mobile signal is very weak or does not arrive, and wifi offered, is on the first floor, and the rooms does not makes it impossible to transfer data. Very nice view, towards los altos and pine trees full of vultures. They do not offer meals or half board, parking is 200 meters uphill or downhill as you look at it. The positive: If you consider the Observatory, and goods in order to visit outdoors, means that the parking is adequate. And the Observatory of the vultures, is interesting, if you stay, you have the right to visit daily, and every day is different, by air, fog, etc. Jose Ramon takes them food, and starts the show, at the Observatory we are guests and visitors and Loli the Manager, who explains everything what you need to know, and what we ask. (A very interesting and without economic means authorities work public) Courage and luck.
