I had the most fantastic experience of working in this beautiful winery. A property surrounded by nature and beautiful vineyards near the town of Utiel & Requena, one of the primary wine producing regions of Spain. Eduardo and his uncle Felix will explain to you the intricate procedure of making wine right on their property. It is not a commercial business but a true artisanal effort into making some of the best Spanish wines I have tasted. You can take a very well guided tour where they start at the beginning, collecting grapes from their fields and then how they are juiced and matured and bottled and labeled in this wonderful big house. And why not enjoy a meal in their garden surrounded by such magnificent views. It is a must if you are looking to understand the true culture of wine. Eduardo is a hard working person and you can see his passion for his craft as he walks along and explains to you all the details and the care it takes to produce something special. Do not miss it, it is something you will always keep with you :) And do not forget to buy a bottle as you might regret it later!
Beatrice MantoetWonderful experience, great views, a quiet place with very nice people and yummy wine available!show original
Quentin HenricThis vineyard is the symbol of his province. Tradition, family, and know-how there are in a sublime property stretching over several hectares. Their wines are as varied as greatly appreciated. My favorite red wine course. Finally the home is required: tour of the property, production rooms, and finally a good tasting in a room, small Museum of local production and the family. Not miss under any pretext. (In addition, a des employé welcomes you in french)!show original
Pierre-MarieI visited Vera of Estenas during a trip to Valencia with friends and I fell under the spell of this family place where the owners are winemakers and we are also the visit of the field. The House and the cellar are of the 19th century, surrounded by a beautiful garden with trees from around the world. The visit ended with a tasting of the wines of the area, including a "vino de pago", what is best in Spain. Wines liked us so much that we returned in France with some boxes in the trunk of the car.show original
Alex H.A beautiful and family-run Winery in the heart of the region of Valencia, close to the medieval village of Requena. The leadership was class and our guide Eduardo explained everything very well, even in English! The best wine tasted me "Martínez Bermell", which is named after his grandfather. This wine is been also classified by the Spanish State in the highest quality category, the Vino de Pago. Has me visit this friendly Winery very well liked and would I come again near the town of Requena, I'll look all safely back over. Thank you from Germany, Alexshow original
