  • They told us a part of its history the day before in watershed so we went to visit him. Takes you back to the time of the order of Santiago and is very impressing called Escorial of la Mancha. You'll visit in the store and do round day

  • It is a shame that the monumentality of the monastery, one of the most beautiful I've seen, is tarnished by the neglected and dirty are your facilities. It is not acceptable you find "goodies" rat inside the temple or that is not fix things that have fairly long broken. Serve this comment not to discourage the visit, but to ask the institution responsible to do something about it. Recommended stop made Manchego typical products shop at the end of the tour.

  • It is an impressive monument, however should take care and control more details. The monument is used for events and it seems that without control anyone and that passes bill to all, both visits beyond the event as the monument itself. With the entrance, 4 euros, gave us an audio guide that was explaining everything very well.

  • Outstanding place. The former headquarters of the Santiago military order, where one of the most famous Spanish poets wrote his best poems. Jorge manrique, the poet, is also buried on the monastery. At sunset the views are breathtaking, where you can see all the small village charm. It's a quiet place to enjoy with time. Also, the history of the place is very interesting
  • A magnificent building, occupying a wonderful hilltop position. Sadly, the building and its gardens are in a poor state of repair, with evidence of vandalism and neglect (September, 2015).
  • One of the historically most important places of the region, required step in the area, in a marvel of architectural and sculptural facade, with the input they give you headphones which tells you the story behind this place. Right now there are works in the tower and part of the failed, but the visit is still being forced.
