  • Within the tourist activities that you can do in Trujillo, seeing the house of Pizarro is one more. It's not spectacular, but you can see it.

  • This is the family home of the PIzarro family, famous for the conquistador Pizarro. The family was one of the wealthier families in the town, and the house reflects that. However, the conquistador was...  more »
  • You can visit this museum to get a little more insight into typical houses or to learn a little more about the conquest of South America. However, most signage is only in Spanish.

  • A very nice place to visit and to remember my trip to Peru. Trujillo is a very interesting place to discover and to stroll about.
  • It Is a 15TH century house, dedicated to the conqueror of the Inca Empire Francisco Pizarro. On the ground floor is the recreation of a home of those times and on the upper Floor, an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Pizarro. There is Also a small backyard. If You like history and you are enjoying Trujillo you must go and visit It.

  • Interesting Museum for €1.50. In Addition to visiting the house of the Conquistador; You will learn facts and curiosities of his life and feats, from his birth in Trujillo until his assassination at the hands of Almagro. It Is A good museum to approach the birth of Peruvian society and culture.

  • It is a 15TH century manor house, which is accessed by a cover with a shield of the Pizarro. This House converted into a museum has been identified by some local historians, although erroneously, according to the official chronicler of the city, Jose Antonio Ramos, as the family home of the father of the founder of Lima, Gonzalo Pizarro. Ramos maintains that Francisco Pizarro was born in that house. The space is divided into two floors, the first being the recreation of a 15TH century house. On the upper floor there is an exhibition about the first years in America, the Inca Empire, the Conquest, the colonial life, the foundations and their death. A patio with a multitude of plants from the American continent Stands Out.
