Paseo Maritimo, Torre del Mar

4.7
#1 of 6 in Things to do in Torre del Mar
Enjoy the sun and surf on Paseo Maritimo, one of the Costa del Sol’s longest seaside promenades. At nearly 3 km (1.86 mi) long, Torre del Mar’s waterfront path provides a wide range of green spaces, dining options, and outdoor activities. Rent a bike and zip along the walkway’s special bike lanes, or simply stroll through its gardens and open spaces. The promenade is the site of many bars and cafes as well as local fishermen selling their freshly-caught and freshly-grilled specialties. Play areas for children are also well-equipped and spread out along its length, meaning that the area is very family-friendly. Be sure to bring your camera as the parks and palm groves in the area are home to a sizeable flock of wild green parakeets. • The best I've ever seen wonderful promenade, no doubt. It has everything, well care, their bars prices are incredible, high quality at very low prices. We will return

  • I admit that my opinion is very subjective because I wanted to go because of Almuñécar was my grandfather... so when you reach the city already I was excited and everything in the place I love. It is a coastal walk and there are several. All are beautiful views to the sea that looks blue and imposing. We arrived on March 2 and it was raining. Just as I thought it was beautiful. The beach is not Sandy but very beautiful stone. Not be as will be in summer but I thought it was beautiful!

  • You never get tired of enjoying this wonderful "Paseo Maritimo". You become addicted ... We stayed for 3 months and when Rincon weren't visiting out of town, my husband and I got attached to the path. Very relaxing and at the same time. Every time you could seize new shades of colour and light along the way. Interspersed with glimpses of disarming beauty. Alternated with lush vegetation, dotted with tidy and hardworking local, flanked by a wide Beach well maintained, serviced by equipment for gymnastics and a cycle track, with benches and play areas for children. At the end of the Paseo, you come to the chapel dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen, which is located in the rock in charming seaside location. Truly spectacular!
