  • A place of national heritage, although it is not well known is something spectacular and that should be visited without thinking. The interior stands out for its tapestries, coffered and structures. Spectacular.

  • It is one of the Spanish Royal sites. The Royal Monastery of Santa Clara.Se East of the town of Tordesillas is situated on the banks of the river Duero, presenting a perfect perspective entering the city from Madrid. As it belongs to national heritage, forget about the camera and the phone because pictures are not allowed.! In their palatial offices is an area occupied by the convent of the Poor Clares Reales.esta all well maintained and is of great interest his visit. All the entrorno belongs to an ancient Moorish palace, built by Alfonso XI to commemorate the victory in the battle of Salado, and he resided Doña Leonor de Guzmán mother of the King's sons that give rise to the Trastámara dynasty, although su8 son was Pedro I the Cruel who ended the work on the Palace. It was host to several women of the high nobility. He is considered the best, without doubt, mudejar building within the Kingdom of Castilla y León. It is difficult to describe their perfect architecture inside and out of their enclosure. A beautiful gothic church with a monumental cover in the main nave has. His visit is forced to the passage of the Northern motorway or Nacional VI.

  • The Royal Monastery of Santa Clara is, without a doubt, the most prominent place de Tordesillas, and if only justify the visit to this interesting medieval village, in which important events for the history of the Spain and America were developed. This place fulfilled important functions over centuries, being initially an Arabic palace which Alfonso XI in 1340 home of a royal residence, which were continued by his son Pedro I and works which involved talented Mudejar artisans, who brought exquisite decorations in plaster with a mixture of Arab reason other mythological and Christian, as well as magnificent coffered ceilings. The decoration of some of its rooms we refer to the Alcazar of Seville, whose decoration is said that it had its origin in this monastery. Over time underwent modifications by lifestyle changes, highlighting the gothic vaults with decorations from mouths of dragons alluding the Trastámara family in his Church and the sober cloister and classicism, the work of Francisco de Praves. Also has some Arab baths very well preserved. It is obligatory to make the guided tour, which lasts 1 h (rather short at times for stays with too many things to pass them quickly) and photos indoors cannot be made (as it is the absurd norm of national heritage).

  • Visit mandatory if you're in Tordesillas. It is very nice. The penalty is that the visits are guided and don't give you time to see and enjoy everything there is. The Arab baths, the ancient instruments, chapels and churches. Our guide an edge. It seemed that children bothered and adults... almost that also. I would still visit it. Price €6 adults and children. I think the entries of children should be free

  • Later marred by mismanagement of ticket office staff. Waiting for an hour and just at the box office, after passing the security cordon 15 people without going. Very bad image for national heritage.

  • Forced stop, with beautiful views of the River, lies this fantastic white monastery. But on the Internet it said that the visit could be done until 6:30 in the afternoon, we arrived at 5:30 and we could not buy the entrance (€1 more cheap for unemployed, I mean €3 and four for workers). We have walked through the inside freely and we love it

  • Pathetic. After an hour queuing up, when you get to the ticket office you say that cannot be accessed. 17:25 h which no longer Guide to another group. 15 individuals react with bad image of the place.
