  • Interesting collection of works by the uncle of the famous Antonio López García, exhibited at the magnificent Museum opened in 1986. The collection is divided into two rooms; the lower showing 41 drawings, and the superior, where 65 oil paintings are displayed. The Museum has, in addition, a temporary exhibition room, closed when we went we and an auditorium. The building is magnificent, the staircase is spectacular, and the collection that exposes is very interesting; We can imagine the influence that the painter took in his nephew through his work. When we went, there was no one visiting it and friendly responsible was a good time telling us about the Museum and the life of Antonio López Torres. Admission is free and the schedule of visits varies according to day: Monday, closed; Tuesday, 17.00 to 20.00 hours; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00; Saturday, from 11.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00; Sundays and public holidays, 11.00 to 14.30 hours. In the summer afternoon is delayed one hour. If we visit Tomelloso and found it open, we must not miss it.

  • Small but well designed Museum that displays the most representative of his work. Very recommendable. Also there are exhibitions temporary.

  • We arrived by mistake at this Museum, because we thought that it was the nephew, also born in Tomelloso. Perhaps we stayed in was the Museum of Antonio Lopez, and overlook of Torres. In any case the collection deserves the worth to be visited and allows you to get an idea of the basis for the acclaimed Antonio López, as his uncle had a relevant influence on the painting of the last of the geniuses of our painting.
