Synagogue of Saint Mary the White, Toledo

2.8
Religious Site · Tourist Spot
Now a museum, Synagogue of Saint Mary the White features stunning architecture and decor. The interior of this former house of Jewish worship is divided by impressive archways, while the floor is lined with decorative tiles. However, round windows lend the building the typical European look of most synagogues. Small art display and carvings are worth a look. The site can be difficult to find, so be prepared to ask for directions or take a map with you. Be sure to bring your camera.
