  • A very nice place where we attended a friendly nun, explaining everything that was there and giving us details on the things that sold.

  • Site visited and with jojas inside, as the grave of El Greco. Goes unnoticed for many people. It cost us to find it because it's not well signposted. Recommended.

  • A convent rundown: of all the nuns that lived there only remain 11 (two of them very old and "disabled"), which is dedicated to making sweets and embroidery. Shows it an immense chorus of closing now used as a small museum and one new choir, more in line with the current number of nuns. In the Church an altarpiece with several paintings of El Greco, of his first works, worthy of being admired (but no pictures!). And in a kind of crypt that teach, a coffin with the remains of the painter. The entrance fee €2,50 and €7 you get a bag of some delicious marzipan of Toledo.

  • I have great memories of this visit the year of el Greco

  • Little more than it worthwhile, the convent cannot be seen some paintings by El Greco,

  • It is a scam of visit. The price was 2.5 euros and not worth anything. There is nothing to do. It is simply a small church with an altar, 4 paintings that are neither del Greco and little else. On the floor and behind a glass of half a meter by half a meter, you sensed a small crypt there is a sarcophagus which supposedly told the nun who was the tomb of el Greco... I've wasted time watching this monastery, now I say unto you, there is nothing to do, is prettier on the outside to inside. In addition, the nun who claimed us entry was too much edge and never explained anything to us. The marzipan which lay for sale are very expensive, it is more, you can buy them at the grocery store that is a little later at less price. Simply, I felt cheated.

  • Enjoy the place where he began painting el Greco in Toledo. Don't forget to buy some candy to the nuns, you won't regret it
