  • Worth the visit for several reasons * is home to the first works of the greco middle two are copies. Ask for history * the history of the convent, one of the most ancient and meanings in his time. * Amazing Museum that has manuscripts of the 14TH century, a contract of el Greco, mediovales, relics, curious miniatures of wax carvings and more things. * Rarely have the opportunity to visit part of a convent of closing inside, very interesting * nuns, cute and endearing, not miss opportunity to ask them for the stories of the convent, is worth. * Finally, the entry ybla sale is the only way to pay for the maintenance of the building and should cost you. A very nice surprise

  • Located at the plaza of the same name. It was the first Monastery founded in Toledo and features with Visigothic remains and many works of art. The Church is of a single nave with Latin cross plant. El Greco worked in the altarpiece of the high altar and we can enjoy two works by its pictorial principles in the city "Los Santos juanes" and "Resurrection of Christ to San Ildefonso" in a crypt, which is seen by a hole in the ground, there is a black coffin, where they say they lie the remains of the famous Cretan painter. You must visit for lovers of art and painting by el Greco.

  • Monastery of Santo Domingo El Antiguo is a monastery within the walls for the first time. Now is the Cistercian Monastery of Santo Domingo de silos. Church in the Latin cross form, has one nave. Is not on the correct side of the lattice door separates the choir and the Church include the glass trapdoor, said of El Greco. And the corridor to serve monks of the sister (nun), your mass when bothered to go to church and from a small window will receive communion can as is has.

  • It is a scam of visit. The price was 2.5 euros and not worth anything. There is nothing to do. It is simply a small church with an altar, 4 paintings that are neither del Greco and little else. On the floor and behind a glass of half a meter by half a meter, you sensed a small crypt there is a sarcophagus which supposedly told the nun who was the tomb of el Greco... I've wasted time watching this monastery, now I say unto you, there is nothing to do, is prettier on the outside to inside. In addition, the nun who claimed us entry was too much edge and never explained anything to us. The marzipan which lay for sale are very expensive, it is more, you can buy them at the grocery store that is a little later at less price. Simply, I felt cheated.

  • Enjoy the place where he began painting el Greco in Toledo. Don't forget to buy some candy to the nuns, you won't regret it
