Architectural Building
An integral piece of Toledo’s historic center, Ayuntamiento de Toledo offers visitors an example of stunning architectural evolution. Located directly across from Toledo’s cathedral, the town hall was originally constructed in 1575, and was modified over the following centuries according to many different styles. Its facade and symmetrical spires look out over the gardens and flowerbeds out front. Marvel at its stone arches, and appreciate the work of the many architects who worked on the town hall throughout its history. Bring your camera, as standing in front of the building allows for a great view of the church spire opposite. The area open to the public also contains a tourist office that provides maps and further information about the city. Put Ayuntamiento de Toledo into our Toledo vacation generator and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • A city landmark. It's worth strolling through its streets and take a quick stop in one of the several restaurants for a drink and eat something, ... The city is very interesting. Worth a visit without haste.

  • Get to Toledo from Madrid simply and quickly. We rode a bus 30 minutes. From the bus stop to reach the city itself (or rather climb there on escalators) takes no more than 15-20 minutes. Toledo really resembles an open-air museum. The narrow, cobbled streets, historic buildings, unique arhitekrura. Beauty! The Cathedral with a huge potolnom El Greco-single story!, he is required to attend!
