  • An essential and exciting visit to meet, celebrate Saramago and enjoy the island from a different perspective

  • As a visitor one feels very close the man and Nobel Prize laureate. A place for many of his works and inspiration, the island of Lanzarote. In the course of years he spent there, he has made many works of art together. Olive trees shaped his life from young, to see in the "a Casa Jose Saramago" a symbol of peace and wisdom. A special highlight - the serving of Portuguese Kaffee.Serviert in his kitchen and the balcony by a very friendly staff. Also the entire leadership (in German, audio) loose, friendly, open for visitors. His words: "I would like to be remembered as a good person". And so it is also called man in Lanzarote in memory remain. A Museumsort they should not miss.

  • Wonderful visit for fans, the jaw-dropping and nice idea to offer coffee as Saramago loved to do in her kitchen. 8 euro well spent.

  • Absolutely beautiful and addictive. I have been to Lanzarote 3 times and I like everything "fundacion Cesar Manrique"
  • Visit very well guided, we were accompanied by a guy who delighted us with anecdotes and curiosities in each room of the House is what most we liked, the Guide, that without it the House is nice but would not have been the same at all came to us a little character, and we empathize with him we take a coffee in his kitchen my 3 year old son also catered it very seriously and they gave also audio-guide to the US spent a video of a story that was unaware of "The world's largest flower" and a documentary about his life with Pilar. Already in the output we bought the tale on paper and novel essay on lucidity the most wonderful thing for me was to enter his office so close to his desk where he wrote and the immense highly recommended library

  • I do not know. I also felt intrusive, "fisgona" but very very exciting. The figure of Saramago made that I would like to make this visit, while he believed that it was an intrusion.. .and after many doubts, I am satisfied... worth
