Plaza del Torico, Teruel

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
3.7/5 based on 650 reviews on the web
The main plaza for the old town of Teruel, Plaza del Torico is a legendary spot. Legend has it that Alfonso II of Aragón followed a small bull to where the plaza now stands and founded the city. The fountain in the center of the plaza pays homage to this legend depicting bulls’ heads that spurt water. The square's architecture blends Art Deco with neoclassical and is a pleasant backdrop to enjoying a coffee at one of the many cafes. • Place very touristic, the most striking is the o-ring, the statue of a bull in "mini" size, I really liked the modernist buildings.

  • When comment you in this plaza and its Bull, o; You must take it to the letter and intartar find the O-ring. Joking aside recommended visit square, a landmark and the square where the monument is located with its facades of ArtDeco style

  • It is a fundamental place in the life of teruel. All pass through there. Teruel tourists etc. Very good experience to sit on a terrace and see what happens. Always there is something interesting. It is curious to see posing for hundreds of people taking pictures with the o-ring at all hours
