Landmark
The main plaza for the old town of Teruel, Plaza del Torico is a legendary spot. Legend has it that Alfonso II of Aragón followed a small bull to where the plaza now stands and founded the city. The fountain in the center of the plaza pays homage to this legend depicting bulls’ heads that spurt water. The square's architecture blends Art Deco with neoclassical and is a pleasant backdrop to enjoying a coffee at one of the many cafes. • surprise the tiny size of the o-ring, but less if you come see the Virgin of the pillar. site full of bars and terraces, is well and is nice to have a few beers. a pair of beautiful modernist houses.

  • A nice little square in the Centre of teruel with a fountain in the shape of a pillar with a torito in the tip and two museums nearby. It is nice to see. A site of teruel that worth a visit.

  • Typical village square. Cosy and quiet drink on its terraces. Important dale the tourist train from this square. By the way the Bull is tiny but it weighs more than 50 kg.

  • A quite enjoyable extravaganza for the rookie voyager: the square offers rich architechtural samples of many centuries, where the star of the show seems to be a pretty small bull over an overdisized column. Do let yourself abandone to the hedonist pleasure of watching it all from a different table every day: the square offers at least four terraces for food and drinks.
  • Lovely plaza in Teruel. Still trying to figure it why the bull is so small... But definitely worth a visit, especially when the festival of the amantes de Teruel is on.
  • There are tons of places to eat and drink in the nearby.
  • Good nighttime ambience.
