Plaza del Torico, Teruel

(3.7/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
The main plaza for the old town of Teruel, Plaza del Torico is a legendary spot. Legend has it that Alfonso II of Aragón followed a small bull to where the plaza now stands and founded the city. The fountain in the center of the plaza pays homage to this legend depicting bulls’ heads that spurt water. The square's architecture blends Art Deco with neoclassical and is a pleasant backdrop to enjoying a coffee at one of the many cafes. • Best Teruel square. Both of day, as in night. Not only the O-ring as the emblem of the city, but for the variety of local tapas and snacks. Meeting point for all roads leading to the monuments of the city. A must on your trip to Teruel photo.

  • Exceptional situation to make a stop along the way and take a few caps of delights of Teruel. It is curious that accompany it with toasted bread and tomato spread... but it is still good.
