  • I love climbing (easy or difficult) things. If you are curious about getting to the top, Montana Roja is an easy but enjoyable walk (no scrambling necessary). You are greeted with a great view and, if you dare to climb onto the height marker (yep, did that 😁) you can put Google's Sphere Shot to good use. Most definitely 'do able' as a family. Don't forget water and sun protection 😎.
  • To the right of the Mountain there is beach Playa de la Tejita with crowd of nude people, to the left - beach Playa el Médano with crowd of dressed surfers: be careful not to mistake :)
  • The view is fantastic. It can be a little windy. I was surprised how quickly you get to the top, I am not a fit person but it only took about 30 to walk from car park to the top.
  • Walk around the base when the tide is out or over the top if you are feeling strong.
  • Cool hike, but windy. The Tejida beach is nice as well. Apparently it's clothing optional.
