  • This castle is very atmospheric and we were lucky to be there with the bluest of skies in January. The views are simply stunning and you could see why the castle was built here. Unfortunately the cast...  more »
  • The ruins of this castle more than seventy years ago that they were declared a national monument of historical and artistic interest, so it is an emblem of the province of Malaga.sus walls belong to the almohade period (12th - 13th), although the Tower of the tribute is Christian era. It overlooks all the countryside and the reason for its location is understood. The entrance is 2 euros per adult and a super friendly and friendly girl who has given us all kinds of explanations about the Castle and its history has guided us visit. Very curious the castle of the star's relationship with the Scottish Douglas, who took part in the reconquest of the Castle helping Alfonso XI and unfortunately perishing in it at the hands of the Moors. Please visit definitely highly recommended.

  • Star Castle strikes by its size and grandeur, complements the excellent guard who explains the history of Castle, of the region and not with real enthusiasm miss the incredible story of the relationship that remains even today the castle with the burned his realm.

  • very interesting Castle. It is shocking that they charge you two euros per person to see a video and a few things from "na"... but good... also is a bit 'betrayal' ;-) even so, the views from the Castle are beautiful and worth. impressive place :-)

  • Great story that holds this castle. Worth visiting it and learn something from our ancestors, very well explained by Fran, the Guide. the price is ridiculous for the amount of information you receive. €2.
