  • The MNAT is a museum located in the high Part of the city since 1960. Previously it had been created as a Museum in the middle of the 19th century, at other facilities. Its objective is the recovery, conservation, research and diffusion of the heritage from of the city Roman of Tarraco and of its area of influence. It organizes activities and offers temporary exhibitions. It has a library. In the Museum there are exposed parts of the Roman past of Tarragona and beginning of Christianity. The collections include pieces from the 16th century and later. Most of the parts that are exposed have been discovered over the past 150 years. The price of the entrance ticket is very economical. Hours are 9.30-18 hours and in summer extend until 20.30 hours. The Sunday for the morning is open. Closes on Mondays.

  • This is the archaeological museum is located on the sea side of the old town. Exhibits were unearthed from the ruins of the ancient Roman World Heritage listed. Among the most interesting is a mosaic of Medusa. I found it good condition so you can see and look Medusa.

  • With that, the ruins of the Roman amphitheatre and circus-type entrance fee, you can log into the Museum for free. There is nothing unique, but those who like antiquity, covered with a layer of silt and time to enjoy.
