  • We found by chance during a walk in the old Tarragona. It was a pleasant surprise that we recommend to everyone. The Museum is divided into several parties, including a space dedicated to a work by Miro, a space for children with a workshop and an exhibition of students of different institutions, an area dedicated to artists local (during our visit, several contemporary works by women from the region were exposed) and a final space dedicated to the sculptures and paintings by important artists to the city of Tarragona, as for example the very talented Julio Antonio. Icing on the cake, the visit is free!

  • A small but interesting collection of exhibits. I'm not sure if the word 'modern' in the title of this gallery has informed (or inspired) the decision makers on what should hang there or be exhibited....  more »

  • A good Museum and is also free. Date of visit: 10/22/2016 site visits: Museu d'Art Modern between the Plaza del Rey and the square of the Forum, we find this museum which houses numerous sculptures, photographs and paintings, spread over the two floors of the Museum. There are several rooms that broadcast audiovisual, as well as a small room where children can exercise their artistic qualities, painting with material that the Museum puts at your disposal. Visit lasts maximum one hour approximately, since it's not very big, and everything will depend on what us spelling looking at every exposed piece. The visit is free, something that is appreciated today.
