The use of water to treat the forging and turn it into everyday utensils since the time of the Romans. Its mill to grind grain, hone... for tempering swords, Spears, knives... complements this magical corner, where managers Luis and his lovely spouse Mª Carnen no less charming daughter Tania, form an active part of this corner, turning completely to get the greatest satisfaction to its customers. To complete the visit, you can taste a few bottles of cider, also cool by water from the river that wanders across this ethnographic complex. Some good meat chops, an Asturian fabada... or the master plate of eggs, sausage and potatoes, (among many more options of Asturian gastronomy), tasted in the rustic and cosy dining room enabled under a granary)... and the auction with a few shots of herbs, Marc, etc, etc, etc... they have made us the day an unrepeatable moment, and return, with well charged batteries to the urban center of Taramundi, along a path immersed in pure vegetation and nature of this area. TO get from TARAMUNDI, depending on the weather conditions and your desire to walk, there are three options. 4.5 km/approx.. separating the people of this ethnographic complex:-by car: Highway leaves us to a few ms/approx. 200, which should be walking (this forbidden access by car). This allows the first panoramic pictures of ethnographic complex. -On foot: this option allows two alternatives: one, on the same road of cars. Another, a path, immersed more in the greenery of the environment. Obiamente, can either be the ida walked by the road and back on the trail. Both in a case, calculate 1 hr. / ca each way. (Yes, as I have said, the lunch you do it in the harness, after the shots, on the way back, it is likely that you batáis your own record... jejjjeeee) IMPORTANT. CLOTHING AND COMFORTABLE SHOES... FOR WALKING.

We had gone to visit Taramundi (a beautiful town in a precious setting) and decided to see Os Teixois approach. Upon entering the village you could be in another era, has much charm. And the guided tour is worthwhile because the guide explains very well how each hydraulic wit. We ate at the food Tavern typical Asturian (the puppy of beef jerky and very good goat cheese), are charming and also no problem with our dog. It is a visit to not miss it if you are in the area.

Isabel took us a tour by by all the machinery that made this town a place in the technology of his time thanks to the water. Thank you Elizabeth!
Highly recommended. The visit is guided and you can go see ways to harness the force of the water. Owner and guide explains you it all with that accent bable and come back a little in the past. I will definitely come back because it is worth support work such as this. There is a car park at the entrance of the village, the entrance is €3 and the visit lasts between 30 and 40 minutes.
Nature in its purest form but taking advantage of the force of the water by man. Apart from a unique setting and a very neat area to the civic people enjoy. Wonderful for adults, incredible kids.
An interesting place where £ 3 offer a guided 30-minute approximately, see as the windmills can generate light, manual labor... You can also see how it works in the forge. On the other hand, the scenery is spectacular.
Highly recommended. It is a site that teaches you how to generate wealth by taking advantage of only the movement of the water as well as beautiful. It is €3 and children less than 10 years do not pay.
A place that I recommend to visit for its charm, its simplicity and authenticity. The friendly nature of its people. By the guided tour with explanations clear and interesting, including demonstrations. And well, on the other hand will be routes for the entire environment. A joy!
