  • We were visiting taverns before going to the towns of the West. In the Centre of the village there are a couple of smaller supermarkets which closes at noon. If we cross the village, outside there is a big day. When we reach the village, follow the main street until you reach an indication of City Hall and Sports Centre on our left, follow this direction to sports centre of taverns, there parked and began the road to the Hill, it is not very long but quite steep, alfaltada. from the top the view of the desert are very good; most of the Castle has been rebuilt to give an idea of the image, but it's not overly conspicuous.

  • The Castillo in his eminence is worth the climb. A path paved y lead. It's free. The view is magnificent on Tabernas and the surrounding area.

  • The ruins of an old castle with the best panoramic views of the area. Free parking at the base. We hiked up to the castle for a picnic lunch. There are no bathroom facilities or trash receptacles.

  • Interesting Castle. It is not a fortress, but it stands out in the landscape. Its walls are well preserved, interior suitable for visits and the view is really spectacular and unique. I highly recommend it.

  • Beautiful views. You have to climb walking from the village of Tabernas, where there is a free parking to leave your vehicle. A sign shows you the places where famous films have been recorded.
