#1 of 54 in Things to do in Province of Soria
Religious Site Tourist Spot
Ermita de San Saturio is a beautiful 18th-century shrine next to a river. A local figure named San Saturio is buried here, honored for donating his entire family inheritance to the poor. The interior of the building is richly decorated, with colorful stained-glass windows lighting up the walls. Talk to a guide to understand the church’s full history and the stories surrounding it. The environment outside is just as enjoyable. Walk, bike, or jog along the banks of the river, where the crowds are sparse and you can enjoy some peace. • A nice walk with a nice view, especially in autumn.
  • 👍
  • Not only the Chapel, around the place is full of magic. Whenever you will discover something new, some detail... It would be perfect to the day that do not allow access with vehicles up to the door of the Chapel and enjoy the promenade along the Duero calmly.

  • The location is perfect if you like solitude and silence, which today is so difficult to find. PD. If there are no people who disturb it.
