Ermita de San Saturio, Soria

(4.8/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Ermita de San Saturio is a beautiful 18th-century shrine next to a river. A local figure named San Saturio is buried here, honored for donating his entire family inheritance to the poor. The interior of the building is richly decorated, with colorful stained-glass windows lighting up the walls. Talk to a guide to understand the church’s full history and the stories surrounding it. The environment outside is just as enjoyable. Walk, bike, or jog along the banks of the river, where the crowds are sparse and you can enjoy some peace. • The walk from the city to the Hermitage, bordering the river is beautiful, on both sides. The Hermitage were surprised by its structure and the different rooms, one of them spectacularly painted with the life of the Saint. It is worth approaching this place. Us lacking papers information about the place, the little shop that exist in one of the rooms seemed sad and low.
