  • Beautiful cathedral perfect for an intimate wedding. Well restored and maintained. Interesting architecture inside is a plus.  more »
  • This is a very unique and interesting church from Roman times. It is currently being rebuilt, and they just discovered some sort of underground cavern. It is very rich in history and they welcome visi...  more »
  • When you arrive in small typical Spanish village of Sigüenza, drive until the cathedral and try to park the car in front of it. Than you have in front of the Cathedral the Plaza Mayor, and also a narr...  more »
  • You can visit the Church Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday mornings. We are currently doing an interesting archaeological excavation and our aim is to become the center of interpretation of the ROMANESQUE PROVINCIAL future. For this we need the support and cooperation of all.

  • This Romanesque church is unfortunately irreparable traces of the barbarity of war, but this being restored to become a center of interpretation of the Romanesque art of the region, hope to see it with new lights soon

  • I could not get inside because they were closed at the time. The Romanesque flare rather warns of its great past in the medieval city.

  • A pity of Church already which is a very nice Street. Inside (in July 2015) was reformed at 100% and the soil was Sandy... They are trying to restore the Church completely funded people, done so it is very likely that will take years to leave it as new. They have an exhibition inside (free) with the project to which you want to get. It is a stop of less than 5'.

  • It is a magnificent Romanesque church (12th century) which is not yet finished restoring. In the year 2012, a group of seguntinos eager to restore its glory, created the Association of friends of the Church of Santiago de Sigüenza whose sole purpose is the continue and finalize its restoration to become the center of interpretation of the Romanesque in the province of Guadalajara. Come and visit it. We will be delighted to welcome you. During the visit we will inform you of its stages c or n s t r u c t i v s, s or transformation of parish church in convent, their ruin in the Civil war and its current state. If you wish we will inform you of how contribute to its restoration. You can do so in two ways: 1: making you a friend of the Church of Santiago de Sigüenza. 2: Sponsoring an ashlar to rebuild their walls, pillars or windows. You look forward to Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: from 11:00 h. to 14:00 afternoons: from 16:00 to 19:00 h.
