Triana, Seville

(3.8/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
In the historical quarter of Triana, you'll walk a pedestrian street lined with Moorish and Gothic structures that illustrate Spain's rich history. The market hall, built in 2005, revives the early Moorish architecture that you'll see gracing the buildings in the area. Visit the basement of the market building to view the foundations of Castillo de San Jorge and an educational center with exhibits relaying the dark history of the Spanish Inquisition. This area hosts its own festivals and is especially recognized for its flamenco culture, so it can be a good spot to visit a restaurant or bar featuring local performers. See Triana and all Seville has to offer by arranging your trip with our Seville trip builder.

  • After going through the traditional places of the old town, it is good to take a spin through the neighborhood of Triana. There can have tapas rich in very good prices and see the true Sevillian style every day from people. You come across some of the bridge and you can do on foot.

  • We were by the District of Triana, after crossing the bridge of Isabel II and admire the sculptures of the Bullfighter Juan Belmonte and a Gypsy with a guitar that pays homage to the art of flamenco in Plaza del Altozano. In street purity, we visited the chapel of the sailors where the Esperanza de Triana, beautiful lady in a beautiful temple is present. Walking by the street Betis could see views precious from the Tower of the gold and of the river Guadalquivir. Opposite the Maestranza painted white and albero colours. Bustling neighborhood with people who flooded the taverns and walk along the river. Triana is Seville and by that the visit is essential.
