Triana, Seville

Neighborhood
In the historical quarter of Triana, you'll walk a pedestrian street lined with Moorish and Gothic structures that illustrate Spain's rich history. The market hall, built in 2005, revives the early Moorish architecture that you'll see gracing the buildings in the area. Visit the basement of the market building to view the foundations of Castillo de San Jorge and an educational center with exhibits relaying the dark history of the Spanish Inquisition. This area hosts its own festivals and is especially recognized for its flamenco culture, so it can be a good spot to visit a restaurant or bar featuring local performers. See Triana and all Seville has to offer by arranging your trip with our Seville trip builder.

  • Nothing really exciting there except cheap restaurant(which are just little cheaper than centre restaurants)  more »
  • A stroll around the neighborhood essential on your visit to Seville. Walking from the other side, cross the bridge of Triana and enter it, exploring their churches and streets is one of the best that you can do in Seville.

  • The Barrio de Triana is a freshness to sit and enjoy the beauty of the neighborhood. Is one of the most famous of Seville. Sung in flamenco music lyrics for your beauty, for its beautiful colorful houses, for your ceramics (Ceramics Museum has in the neighborhood), besides being the cradle gitano Flamenco art. The area is full of bars and restaurants to sit and enjoy the sunset from there, you can perfectly see the Maestranza, the Torre del Oro and the part of the old town enjoying good food. The neighborhood was revitalized. In addition to the triana bridge under the Guadalquivir River-which is a part-to show who is the Flamenco Art aficionado, there are many dance schools and tablaos of spectacles. All good!
