Triana, Seville

Categories: Neighborhoods, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
3.8/5 based on 1,900+ reviews on the web
In the historical quarter of Triana, you'll walk a pedestrian street lined with Moorish and Gothic structures that illustrate Spain's rich history. The market hall, built in 2005, revives the early Moorish architecture that you'll see gracing the buildings in the area. Visit the basement of the market building to view the foundations of Castillo de San Jorge and an educational center with exhibits relaying the dark history of the Spanish Inquisition. This area hosts its own festivals and is especially recognized for its flamenco culture, so it can be a good spot to visit a restaurant or bar featuring local performers. See Triana and all Seville has to offer by arranging your trip with our Seville trip builder.

  • I loved this part of Seville, especially looking at the interesting architecture from across the river. Planning on spending more time here on my next visit.
  • The neighborhood is nice, undeniable, but the bridge found me one more. I was more dazzled by the history of the neighborhood in itself that the own beauty rather than announced own bridge. Still is a must-see in Seville.

  • You stroll through narrow streets filled with shops but where the mass tourism arrives. Very romantic dinner in the evening along the River in one of the many eateries that have outdoor seating
