This beautiful place are worth a visit. Not only for the nice view but also for the camera obscura inside. Please note, you should put with two. Unfortunately I was only.

Recommend this visit in the early days in Seville. Driving with his sympathy and immense culture can tell you the city from his point of view, telling you about the history of this city halfway between the Arabs and the Europeans. The tower is one of the few in Europe to have this system of lenses and mirrors that allows you to see everything in the city and at any distance. I would absolutely recommend!

We visited the tower while staying in Seville for the weekend. What a view from the top. Our tour guide told us he couldn't speak much English but did very well giving us a tour of the city via the to...  more »

  • Great views from the obscure Obscura. Worth the trip, the bus is the c2 which is the external city circuit one. Drops you off at the door. Go when it's clear and sunny. The camera works best then. The clarity and range is something to behold. The external viewing gallery is well placed to offer good views of the city as well. €4 euro for the external and camera showing. Worth it.
  • Rise in elevator (schindler). Nice view of the city. Price €2 for the mirador or €4 for the darkroom

  • 19th century. Industrial architecture. We see moving images of the surroundings in his darkroom.

  • Opened as "Camera Obscura" on March 28, 2007, being a tourist attraction allowing you to see the city from a height of 45 meters, nearly half of the Giralda. Also as a foreign viewpoint. Very curious.

Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.
