Bridge Tourist Spot
Stop for a photo op on Puente de Isabel II (Puente de Triana), an elegant bridge connecting the city center with the Triana district across the Guadalquivir River. Although a rustic pontoon bridge originally spanned the river here, the structure was rebuilt during the reign of Isabel II in the 19th century. As you cross the bridge, spot the Golden Tower and the la Maestranza bull-fighting stadium from here. Cafes and sites that offer nightlife cluster around the bridge on either side. Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.

  • This is a beautiful old bridge that just begs to be photographed at sunrise, sunset at night or anytime in between. Easy to walk across to Triana.  more »

  • It is a beautiful place. The old world craftsmanship is exceptional. You can sit and relax at the magnificent fountain, cross the bridges or take a boat on the waterwway. Or tour the twin towers of Isabella and Ferdinand I would definitely recommend this location to family's as well.
  • Beautiful bridge. I imagined that it'd be even more beautiful during sunset. The view from Triana is awesome. There's also a really cool rooftop restaurant right by this bridge. I'd recommend taking a stroll along the river and just look at marvelous Seville from the bridge!
  • Very beautiful bridge, that you can get to see from every angle. During daytime it just looks good and there is a restaurant on top and the Triana Market just besides. At night it lights up and looks magical.
  • Excellent views from this bridge and moreover you can really get good ideas what locals do on Saturday morning.
  • love this bridge so much, nice place to get walk arounds ..good sigh seeing along the river side between sevilla and triana
