Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.

  • A huge and stunning park with a lot of space to walk around and some play areas for children. There are also fountains, some animals and a lot of shade which is great on those hot days.
  • Very beautiful park right next to Plaza de Espana. I had a great time just walking around on a nice sunny February day. It was smaller than I expected but great place to check out with a friend. Definitely don't miss this when you are in Seville.
  • Great place to run any daytime. A green place in a very dry city. It's also good for relaxing and walking.
  • A beautiful park in the heart of Seville. Water fountains, shady benches, playgrounds for children, and lovely flowers and trees.
  • Beautiful place! Amazing tiling and so photogenic! You can walk around most of the structure without interuption (entry fee, gates, etc). Unfortunately the road out front is filled with poor horses and their carriages. Far too many of them for very little demand, these horses deserve a field! Not the boredom of standing all day doing nothing. The less people use them, the more horses can retire from this horrible job.
