  • Inside the Park you will come across small;p alácios, gardens that look like film scenarios and craft fairs even if it is on Sundays. With many chariots. with horses.

  • This park located adjacent to Plaza Espana is a must see in Sevilla. The grounds are beautiful and you can spent a lot of time here just walking around, taking pictures. Some were taking a carriage ri...  more »
  • Having read that it was a place of refreshment from the heat oppressive expecting a greener Park (to English for instance) and more with refreshment kiosks (not just ice cream and drinks).

  • Prefacing my commentary on the fact that I love gardens, I think this is a beautiful example of Flora of the area, the plaza de espagne is at the back, there are horse carriages to take you around or you can walk. Buses are excellent in Seville and it shouldn't be hard to get one that will take you very close.
  • Huge area of gardens, walking paths, bike trails, horse carriages, pigeon feeding, and of course incredible architecture in the many buildings, unique tile work in the benches and fountains, and a couple ponds thrown in. Spend a couple hours and explore the many paths. Be sure to catch the tile stories told in the individual benches near the art & costume museum.
  • Set aside a few hours to explore these gardens. They are an absolute paradise. The plaza de España and plaza de America border it. You can do all three in a few hours. Bring your camera!
  • Great location, very relaxed atmosphere. Much cooler than the City on those very hot days!
  • One of the most beautiful parks. So many little places, squares and glorietas. Lovely and cook on a hot day.

Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.
