  • Taking advantage of that open for the day of Andalusia day was, day 26 February we visited this iconic place. It's a former renovated hospital and is the current seat of the Andalusian Parliament. The visit turned out very pleasant with an adequate explanations of a sympathetic Guide.

  • Founded in the 16th century by Catalina de Ribera and his son Fadrique Enríquez de Ribera, as Hospital de las Cinco Llagas (also known in Seville as a Hospital of the blood), would be working as a Hospital until 1982, and subsequently restored became the seat of the Parliament of Andalusia, in 1992. Impressive building of Renaissance architecture, is the ancient and majestic Church, hosting the sessions of Parliament, its well-kept gardens, its large and pleasant courtyards, and innumerable dependencies for the development of parliamentary activity. In the gardens of its main façade, with large trees, we can contemplate the sculpture of Hercules, which was conducted for the Seville Expo in 1992, was located at the entrance of the Pavilion of Andalusia. Declared of Cultural interest listed monument in 1931.

  • Parliament of Andalucia works within a church which gives it a unique status. It's actually a chapel of a hospital for women who worked there. Architecture beautiful and very well maintained. Recommend a visit!
