  • The Museum is located in one of the pavilions of the Ibero-American exhibition of 1929 year in Maria Luisa Park. The building is heritage-listed Moorish-Mudejar style with elements of art deco. It is unlikely that you will have time to explore the Museum's exposition after visiting the main attractions of Seville. But, it should be borne in mind if this happens or if it rains and will have his ride out without wasting valuable travel time.

  • Located in a beautiful palace, this museum is a very reasonably priced place to visit. Perhaps they should charge more and upgrade it. The floor that was temporarily closed had been so for 11 years! T...  more »
  • Today I returned to visit the Museum that so many times I was when was a kid with my parents. After passing through ticket (free for EU residents) tell me that directed me to the basement. There I see the different parts which are exposed, classified by offices or rooms of a House. Until there all relatively correct except lack of translations into English of the objects (Seville has many foreign tourists) and lack of dating of the majority of the parts. Climbing back to the plant zero wonder at the box office can access the continuation, and it is then when I'm horrified: already there are noble plants as a Museum, the basement is all. Again I ask and what happened to all that was: the carriages, fair posters, large parts? There they can't respond. Without leaving my amazement I ask you by the main current use of these plants and the building itself were very elegant to see first, and not as the basement. The answer could not be more Kafkaesque: currently used as offices of administration of the Museum (or rather the remains of the Museum that was once) have dismantled the 2 upper floors for its offices. And how much people work there, and what do, and...? A penalty and an insult to those from Seville. The Museum is from the Junta de Andalucía. I think you should give many explanations. Today they have hurtado childhood memories. What was said, nor the shadow of what was.
