  • Located on the Plaza of America, in the wake of the Maria Luisa Park, the Mudejar Palace houses the Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares de Sevilla. The Museum presents a collection of embroideries, ceramics, of utensils and other objects of daily life. I have found the time a little long, expecting rather to an exhibit at the fair, Flamenco or bullfighting. It should be noted that the entrance to the Museum is free for citizens of the European Union.

  • The people of the European Community do not pay! which is already nice. C is open from 9: 00 to 15: 00 at the ground floor of a temporary exhibition on animals and two rooms where we present objects, fabric, lace of Seville then you switch to the-1 and you will do a small course, which has many of the objects used by the Sevillans.il also has spaces devoted to different professions. The visit is not very long, but as you will necessarily go! in Maria Luisa Park do not hesitate! Have a look

  • Perhaps better suited to a very young audience, the Museum turned out to be quite dull, with a long sequence of rooms that mimic old shops. Remarkable instead the façade of the museum itself you can enjoy from the Plaza de America. Free entrance

  • Muy recomendable. Perfect introduction to the daily life of Andalusian people in last three centuries. EU citizens free entry.
  • Nice place. Beautiful building in wonderful surroundings. Museum itself a bit thin on content. And, frankly, not my cup of tea. Still worth a visit though. And free if you are an EU citizen...
  • Excellent historical museum, beautiful building, brilliant textile and embroidering collection.
  • Beautiful building great photo spots!
  • This is such an amazing place to visit. Is one of a kind. Special designed rooms to remember us how was the life of Diaz Velazquez. Furniture. ..special fabrics. You can't get bored there !

Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.
