  • Very good experiences. Many antiques, clothing, books and curios at good price. It is a good immersion in the culture of Seville.

  • We arrived in the street fair without knowing that Thursday was established, on the same street for two blocks this flea market. The knot is in the Mount Zion square and was almost a torture walk quietly. We were aware of any theft or swindle, so we enjoyed little. (Vi) sales of paintings, coins, religious sculptures, Sevillian typical dresses, etc. We wanted to reach the Alameda de Hercules as soon as possible

  • A place to browse and search for treasures or replacements of lamps or other antique objects, also you can find books, coins, clothing, records and countless surprises. It should go early and have breakfast at one of the bars you find in the path. Beware of pickpockets!, taking advantage of the distraction that offer curious positions, can become bitter you day.

  • Flea market type trace more than a thousand years old. There are books, antiques, clothing, toys, collectibles, junk items and other curiosities, including flamenco dresses. Only Mars you are allowing to catch sellers with articles taken from containers of garbage, and that makes losing quality to this traditional market, a pity, although fortunately they are not the majority.

Where to stay in Seville

Seville's flat, grid-like city center makes it one of Spain's most walkable cities. While no part of the center is more than a 15-minute walk away, you might enjoy staying on one of the many picturesque cobblestone streets leading off from the famous Cathedral in Plaza España. Boutique hotels and historical apartment rentals intermix with the old quarter's tapa bars and Andalusian storefronts. Nearby, Barrio Santa Cruz is a bit quieter than the main plaza but still boasts the city's sought-after old-world charm. Across the river is the Triana neighborhood, where a lack of heavy tourism has preserved the strong local scene in this mainly residential area full of traditional restaurants and corner bars.
